Activities 

 

February 10: Nathan Perry Chapter, Steak Fry at the American Legion Post #30 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

All proceeds will go toward veteran events, parks and with Path and Green. For event reservation details, click here.

March 29: Commemorative Vietnam Pinning, Vietnam Veterans Memorial of Lorain County, located at 625 North Lake Street, Amherst, Ohio. Sign-in begins at 4 p.m. with the ceremony beginning at 5 p.m.

March 30: Commemorative Vietnam Pinning, American Legion Post 12, located at 393 Ohio Street, Elyria, Ohio. Sign-in will begin at

11 a.m., followed by a ceremony at 12 p.m. Lunch will be provided at a cost of $5 for non-veterans, while veterans will enjoy a complimentary meal. This event is proudly sponsored by the Elyria Council of Veterans and the Nathan Perry Chapter. For further details regarding this event, please contact, (419) 602-3792.  

      

May 19: Join us for the one-act play by Eden Valley Enterprises, "Emma Gatewood, Are you out of your Bloomin' Mind?!" Location, Lorain Palace Theatre, 617 Broadway, Lorain, Ohio on May 19, 2024, 2 p.m. Tickets are $15 at www.lorainpalace.com or by calling (440) 245-2323. Musical entertainers Tim Blake and Michele will also perform.

May 25: Wreath laying at the Vietnam Memorial at 625 N. Lake Street, Amherst, Ohio. 5 p.m. sign-in and ceremony at 6 p.m.

 

Dec. 14: We have added three additional cemeteries for Wreaths Across America. Cemeteries include Elmwood Cemetery and Calvary Cemetery in Lorain, Ohio; Resthaven Memory Gardens in Avon; Nesbett Cemetery and  Belden Cemetery in Grafton, Ohio.
